Random thought #1

It would be easy to assume, based on a quick glimpse around Luxor and the signs that furnish its hotels and nighttime establishments, the folks in charge of Egypt’s tourist industry envision the Western world as a wild place where everyone subsists on disco and snacks.

For those of you (hi, Mom!) waiting for new photo/video/audio posts on bated breath, wireless Internet that doesn’t cost money here usually moves at a snail’s pace. So, the volume of things I’m sharing is low compared to the volume of things I’m collecting (voraciously!). But I’m trying to keep up!
